The Thief Who Stole the #1 Spot!

I hardly singling out fictional character as my favorite because I don’t know, um, it feels so unfair to the other characters that left a dent in my heart, characters that struck and tugged at my mind, characters that echoed my personality, characters that mirrored my own perspective, sentiments and rants and yet I still didn’t declare them as my favorite. Yeah, I can give a list of top ten of my favorites but I’m not going to rank them. I can say that all those 10 or more share the #1 spot. Period. ‘Cause it’s just so hard to pick a certain character and rank him as number 1 and this character as number 10 and so on. I really love them all, they are my precious babies. I can’t just simply choose. And never in a million years that I will until Victoria Schwab left me with no choice. I’m sorry babies, she made me do this but always remember that what I’m going to say next doesn’t make me love you less. Ladies and gentlemen, Delilah Bard made it to the #1 spot and she really deserves it.

Haven’t heard that name before? Poor you, guys!!! Immediately check Victoria/ V.E. Schwab Shades of Magic series. AS IN NOW!! No need to thank me later. 😉😉😉 Anoshe!

TITLE: How They Met, and Other Stories
AUTHOR: David Levithan
Publication Date: January 08, 2008
Genre: Young Adult, Short Stories, Romance

This book was a collection of short stories. These different short stories showed Levithan’s different approach of conveying love, heartbreaks, relationships, disappointments and happy endings. My favorite is the The Romantic Inclination…so nerdy.haha. (physics and chemistry! lol.) It was so funny and good, proves that friendship is an important element and dominant power in any romantic relationship.

Anyway, other stories were also great…covered a whole spectrum of scenarios about heartbreaks, happenstance, fate, closet gay, unrequited love, destiny, letting go, acceptance, pure happiness and joy, LGBT themes. 🙂 They will make you laugh, and some will make you sad, but all are completely enjoyable.

Must read! How They Met, and Other Stories is a book I highly recommend for everyone especially YA fans with short attention spans.
